Disco into your 60th


What other way to honor another round number in your life, then to throw a Lavish + Sparkling Disco-bash! It was giving Studio 54 and Plates by Lisa is here for it!


This Plates by Lisa production had the birthday girl's vision come to life! A fun boho-disco themed set-up with a one-of-a-kind tablescape in blush + citrus colors featuring customized tropical flower arrangements with sunset hue candles by the one and only, The Sweetzer Life. She even bedazzled her anthuriums, c'mon! Fresh oranges + kumquats from Chef Lisa's tree placed next to shiny disco balls played together down the table. Tying it all together, custom disco menus were arranged alongside blush glassware + accents of silver were decked to match the disco balls that were flowing around the party and dangling from the ceiling of the party tent.



Upon arrival the guests got to enjoy a funky cocktail hour overlooking the hills of Westlake. With the curated disco era playlist by the birthday girl herself, the stage was set for the perfect 60th birthday as guests rolled in with colorful prints, bell bottoms, sequins and some wiggin' fun curls. While vibing out to disco classics, grazing on seasonal charcuterie this time garnished with disco ball toothpicks, the bartender topped off champagne + wine while appetizers were passed out by the disco ladies on deck.

Once the vibe was set and the party had settled in it was time for the guests to enjoy a pre-set 4-course mediterranean dinner menu. Conversations were flowing + speeches held all through the evening, honoring the beautiful hostess, Barbara. To top off the celebration a mandatory sparkler moment + a three story cake covered in disco balls by Sweet Arleens was brought while collectively singing Happy Birthday! With such a fun crowd the night naturally turned into a full out dance party!
