A soirée in Lunada Bay was the talk of the town. This past weekend, the hottest prize of Lunada Bay Elementary Silent Auction was finally redeemed. Auctioned off as "Taste of Cabo" a night of Surf 'n Turf was catered by Celebrity Chef Lisa and produced by South Bay's premier event design company, South Bay Soirées . Hosted at a private residence with a panoramic view of the sparkling blue ocean, the night kicked off as guests entered through the veranda and were welcomed into an atmosphere inspired by the Mexican Riviera.
The details of the space, perfectly executed by Stacy Hirson of South Bay Soirée's took us to another world. An elongated table covered in light terracotta table cloths featured warm tropical details that elevated the deck overlooking the Pacific. With palm leaves as the centerpiece, floating candles + florals dripping with romantic accents, the pieces running down the table were perfectly placed on bohemian tile, reminiscent of the local towns in Mexico. Each place setting was customized with name cards designed by Glam Celebration with a gold palm tree + a fringe tassel. Layers of handwoven chargers + vibrant napkins were delicately placed with white ceramics and Himalayan pink sea salt shot glasses to welcome each guest to their seats. Turquoise, blush + natural colored pillows covered benches for guests to lounge with candles + lanterns lighting up the deck as the sun set.
Plates by Lisa bartenders shook things up at the custom bar featuring Casamigos Mezcal, Blanco and Reposado Tequilas. The menu highlighted seasonal ingredients with a nod to Mexican influences to give guests a "Taste of Cabo" in the comfort of their home.

As cocktails were pouring, appetizers were flowing. Ahi tuna tartare served with plantain chips and lobster skewers with garlic aioli started the night with the Surf portion of Surf 'n Turf. Guests decked out in the finest resort wear, emanated vacation mode for the night. With personalized services from the Plates by Lisa team dressed in all white, the space felt like paradise. The sun kissed atmosphere was glistening as guests gathered, grazed on seasonal charcuterie, connected + relaxed.
As the sun started to set, Celebrity Chef Lisa served up a delectable Surf 'n Turf menu, inspired by her travels to the Mexican Riviera by incorporating local + organic ingredients sourced from Southern California's farmer's markets. The cuisine highlighted signature dishes with a hint of spice + fusion for the "Taste of Cabo".

Gathered around the candlelit table, auction winners wine'd and dine'd under the moonlight. Vibe Curator Lisa, facilitated the flow + energy of the evening down to an epic birthday moment. A sparkler parade with a custom cake, tres leches + glittered chocolate bites from The Trim Tart, had the hostess shocked and speechless with joy as the Plates by Lisa girls dazzled + lit up the atmosphere. Guests were all smiles as they cozied up by the fire pit, full of elation for the evening that traveled their tastes and hearts to Cabo.
